More Energy, Lower Emissions - Decarbonization at Scale
28:16
Growth in global energy demand and associated emissions of greenhouse Gases (GHGs) is inexorably linked to population growth and economic growth. Reducing CO2 emissions is a global challenge that requires a system approach with combination of scale, speed and efficiency. This is a gigatons scale problem that will require many different technologies including removal of CO2 from atmosphere. Join this CERAWeek Conversation with Professor Arun Majumdar, Director of the Precourt Institute for Energy at Stanford University in which he shares his views on meeting this dual challenge and the need for building global coalitions.
