The New Map: Energy, Climate, and the Clash of Nations
54:50
A new global map is being shaped by dramatic shifts in energy & geopolitics. Among its contours are disruptions to the world’s long-standing energy ecosystem, a re-arranging of global power dynamics, and shifts in power relationships between countries and across industries. In his new book, “The New Map: Energy, Climate, and the Clash of Nations,” IHS Markit Vice Chairman Daniel Yergin explores the forces that are driving these changes and the consequences of the coming disruptions. Yergin, the Pulitzer Prize winner for “The Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil, Money, & Power,” and author of “The Quest: Energy, Security, And the Remaking of the Modern World,” joins IHS Markit Senior Vice President Carlos Pascual and IHS Markit Chief Energy Strategist Atul Arya to discuss the themes of his latest work and their implications for the energy future.
