Leadership Dialogue with Musabbeh Al Kaabi
32:32
Since its formation as a unified state in 1971, the United Arab Emirates has been on a continuous path of development and diversification. Its early economic roots in pearl fishing gave way to a dominant petroleum industry, a pioneering role in the global LNG trade, and now a transition to world-leader in renewable energy and nuclear power. Guiding this transformation have been the country’s government-led investment vehicles as stewards its national vision. Musabbeh Al Kaabi, CEO of UAE Investments for sovereign investor Mubadala Investment Company, shares his vision for the next 50 years and the returns that further diversification and investment in disruptive industries will have for the UAE and its development agenda.
